About the team:

We are an engaged and motivated engineering group actively working on a new payment processing platform to bring us into the future using the latest technologies and approaches to keep us ahead of the competition in a highly competitive space. We are a highly collaborative and close-knit group that challenges each other each day for the betterment of the company, group, and the individual. What you will be doing:

You will play an integral role in guiding and leading our teams in the overall architecture of our product domain.

• You will collaborate directly with the teams making sure designs meet of overall standards and fit into broader architectural view of the domain.
• You will coordinate and collaborate with other upstream and downstream domains to make sure we are in sync architecturally from an overall solution standpoint.
• You will own and help maintain all architectural documents and diagrams for our domain.
• You will be responsible for keeping domain leadership informed and updated in the architectural vision

What you bring:

• Broad understanding of coding and programming languages
• Experience with database design and data modeling
• Extensive knowledge of the software development process and corresponding technologies
• Excellent understanding of design patterns and architectural styles
• In-depth understanding of using a microservices oriented architecture
• Proficient knowledge of the operation and development designs of agile software
• Strong soft skills, including attention to detail, problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience working and designing in public cloud environments

Added bonus if you have:

• Experience designing solutions within AWS
• Experience working in Kafka or other streaming platforms
• Experience working with NoSQL and distributed databases
