You will have the opportunity to grow and develop the Commercial Audit practice in the Boston market. Ideal candidate will thrive on opportunity to "take ownership" of growing and managing their portfolio within this practice.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Function as an industry leader in the Boston market through an established professional reputation and network, ability to quickly build a network of business contacts and referral sources

  • Actively participate in the execution of the firm's Audit growth strategy

  • Lead all phases of the audit process, ensure quality assurance standards are being performed while providing exceptional client service

  • Develop a thorough assessment and understanding of client's business needs and objectives, integrate a deep understanding of a professional services environment to achieve desired results

  • Ensure that all deliverables are prepared accurately while anticipating, identifying, and addressing client concerns and problems as they arise

  • Work within budgetary and time constraints while providing high-level client satisfaction and audit quality

  • Promote innovative ideas and business solutions which result in allowable extended services to existing clients

  • Help build a dedicated and motivated team of professionals to accomplish the vision and strategy positioning Crowe as a leader in Commercial assurance services

  • Ensure professional development for self and team through ongoing education and obtaining additional certifications as appropriate

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and auditing standards

  • Serve as a role model, providing mentoring and training to staff members

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting required, master's or advanced degree desirable

  • Certified Public Accountant required

  • 12+ years of experience providing financial statement audit services in public accounting preferred

  • Established expertise with one or more industry v such as technology, media & telecommunications, manufacturing & distribution, life sciences other industries relevant to the Boston market.

  • 5+ years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates

  • SEC public company experience and or private equity experience preferred

  • Innovative and forward-thinking leader with a proven history inbuilding, developing, and sustaining clients and teams

  • Strong organizations skills with the ability to strategically plan for growth, innovation, and exceptional client service

  • Ability to cross-sell firm services to existing client base while adhering to independence standards
