Job Description

As a Strategic Contract Management Specialist ("SCM"), you will be primarily responsible for the review, summarization/abstracting of important legal and business points along with the execution of newly awarded customer sales agreements, modifications to existing contracts and overall contract life cycle management. The SCM will be responsible for a portfolio of contracts, for which they manage contract milestones and deliverables, price increases, renewals, contract close-outs, database management, and reporting. The SCM will provide administrative contract support by maintaining files, responding in an informed and timely fashion to contractual questions and requests for assistance, and accurately capturing contract data and milestones within the Galls' contract management system.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Review customer sales agreements and other contractual documents, evaluating against the company's standard terms and conditions and legal principles and identify issues for counsel or business unit management; manage redline and routing of proposed changes.

Capture primary contract terms in Galls' contract management system to support the contract administration and renewal process.

Effectively manage the pipeline of work including tracking the status of contract reviews, providing proactive updates to leadership and stakeholders, and ensuring the timely execution of contracts.

Research contract language in support of negotiation efforts.

Review final documents for execution; coordinate or review execution of agreements; manage electronic signature of documents; reject incomplete documents

Provide reporting to Senior Manager on contract renewals, price increases, expirations, customer required reporting, etc.

Monitor and track upcoming contractual actions and deadlines

Comprehend and structure contract family trees within the contract management system.

Complete projects and special assignments by establishing objectives, determining priorities, managing time, gaining cooperation of others, monitoring progress, problem-solving, and adjusting plans.

Draft documentation supporting contract modifications including the exercise of renewals, price increases, and contractual closeout

Respond to contractual and queries/communications both internally and externally, with responsibility for timely and accurate responses

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to analyze contract terms and overall contract compliance.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Project management skills, including the ability to organize cross functional efforts related to contract opportunities.

Professional level skills in both oral and written communication

Excellent interpersonal skills, with customer service outlook and approach

Excellent attention to detail

Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and internet navigation/research

Paralegal certification preferred.
