Camp Wediko is hiring a temporary Senior Supervisor for their Windsor, New Hampshire location. Located on 450 lakefront acres, Camp Wediko is a six to eight-week residential summer camp serving youth with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges ranging in age from 8-18. The Senior Supervisor is a full time, seasonal position which supports the daily clinical operations of Camp Wediko in conjunction with the Clinical Manager.

The Senior Supervisor works under the supervision of the Program Director and is responsible for ensuring that the highest level of clinical services are provided. This includes training, program development, and supervision of Clinical staff. The Senior Supervisor is part of the Camp management team and supports compliance with all fiscal, ethical, and legal standards and best practices.

How You'll Be Making a Difference

  • Design and facilitate the implementation of clinical interventions to children and families needing high-level expertise
  • Ensure clinical services are in compliance with state and federal regulatory agencies and leading practice standards
  • In conjunction with the Program Director and Clinical Manager, train, supervise, and evaluate clinical staff
  • Provide supervision, crisis intervention, and support for Camp Wediko staff
  • Provide and/or coordinate clinical trainings for staff on clinical topics relevant to client services provided by Camp Wediko
  • In collaboration with the Program Director and Clinical Manager, oversee the audit of the clinical charts to ensure that there are complete and up to date
  • In coordination with the Program Director and Clinical Manager, facilitate team case conferences and other venues to ensure coordinated implementation of treatment plans and service utilization such that the comprehensive care of clients reflects the philosophy and objectives of Camp Wediko;
  • In conjunction with the Program Director, act as a liaison with other community providers and agencies serving Camp Wediko clients as needed
  • Participate in management team meetings
  • Participate and help facilitate Clinical Supervisor team meetings twice weekly
  • Assist and work with the Program Leadership regarding strategic and long-range planning as needed
  • Live on campus full time during the summer and participate in the time-off rotation with other program staff.
  • Perform other clinical and supervisory duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Masters or Doctoral Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, behavioral science, or equivalent field of study.
  • Independently licensed
  • Minimum of three years' experience providing clinical supervision to staff
  • Experience developing clinical programming
  • Experience in outpatient and residential settings is preferred

Additional Requirements

This position requires the ability to walk the rugged terrain of our outdoor campus, an active wooded setting. The Clinical Manager will often be outdoors engaging in active recreational activities in the unpredictable summer seasonal elements of New Hampshire. This includes working in hot and humid temperatures and rain. The ability to bend, hold and lift is also required as indicated by behavioral management techniques. Employees are responsible for transportation to one of the pick-up and drop-off locations at the beginning and end of summer (Manchester airport, Boston Logan airport, or direct transport to and from campus). The Clinical Manager is expected to participate in two weeks of training prior to child arrival day and a week following child departure day to allow time for documentation, debrief, and clean up of the physical campus.
