Process Technician

Description:

Process Technician to assist with daily manufacturing sustaining, continuous improvement, and development projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor key process parameters to proactively catch process shifts.
  • Disposition lots on hold.
  • Run production operations.
  • Assist engineer in failure analysis of non-conforming material to determine root cause. Assist in reworking material when appropriate.
  • Create and maintain process specifications and training checklists and submit in Agile.
  • Provide hands on training to manufacturing employees on new products, equipment, and process revisions.
  • Create and maintain defect libraries and inspection docs.
  • Troubleshoot processes, material or equipment to minimize down time and recommend solutions.
  • Identify areas, methods, and processes for yield and cycle time improvements. Plan, present, and implement changes.
  • Develop troubleshooting procedures for out of control/spec conditions (OCAPs).
  • Work with equipment team to start-up new equipment. Perform baselines, summarize results.
  • Meet due dates for assignments while balancing daily priorities.
  • Understand equipment operation and proactively identify equipment issues through observation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree required.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor processing.
  • Able to work on multiple priorities with limited supervision.
  • A demonstrated strong work ethic and track record of success.
  • Organized in gathering data, taking notes, setting up work area.
  • An understanding of statistical methods used in manufacturing: SPC, DOE.
  • Detailed oriented - able to detect minor deviations from expected process performance.
  • Experience with Lean and 5S is desirable.
  • Strong MS Excel skills for data gathering and analysis.
  • Strong MS Word skills for spec writing and editing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Due to ITAR restrictions must be US citizen or Permanent Resident.
