Job Description

Summary:

The Production (Inventory) Clerk is responsible for Work Order transactions, Inventory refilling and warehouse transactions, inventory discrepancy troubleshooting, assisting with cycle counts, non-conforming material transactions, and part shortage fulfillment. This position will strive to improve existing operational procedures to maximize efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage all Production SAP work order transactions including Operation Confirmations, Goods Issue, and Goods Receipt

  • Troubleshoot work order discrepancies and verify for completion

  • Investigate and correct work order errors related to storage locations or routings

  • Manage floor refilling distribution and transactions

  • Perform cycle counts for production floor, and perform discrepancy investigation, determining root causes and identifying opportunities for improvement

  • Process Production & Inventory related QN tasks including initial creation of the quarantine order, material movements, and task assignments

  • Develop and implement improvements on existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency

  • Monitor and fulfill line shortages, working with buyers to mitigate recurrences

  • Monitor aging production work orders through direct communication with fulfillment and assembly teams

  • Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications:

a. Required

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to resolve issues with other departments.

  • Computer skills including the use of standard office software programs including Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook.

  • Demonstrated competency with an ERP, preferably SAP.

  • Must be self-motivated with high energy level and a strong work ethic.

  • Commitment to high standards of excellence and integrity.

  • 3-5 years experience working with inventory in a Warehousing/Production environment.

  • Inventory control, work order, and cycle count knowledge

  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.

  • Must possess a valid Wisconsin driver's license and safe driving record.

b. Preferred or Desired

  • Experience with quality system requirements (FDA, ISO, OSHA).

  • Fork Lift and pallet jack operation training/certification.

Accuray pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Accuray Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
