Description

Overview: We are seeking a talented Training Content Creator and E-Learning Specialist to join our team. This role will primarily focus on developing engaging and interactive e-learning content, as well as creating associated workbooks and job aids as needed. Additionally, the position will involve assisting with the maintenance and management of our Learning Management System (LMS). Proficiency with Articulate Storyline and hands-on experience with LMS platforms are essential. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and have a portfolio showcasing previous work in e-learning content creation. A minimum of three years of experience in training content creation and LMS administration is required.

Responsibilities:

  1. E-Learning Content Development:
    • Develop interactive and engaging e-learning modules using Articulate Storyline or similar authoring tools.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content requirements and ensure accuracy and relevance.
    • Create supplementary materials such as workbooks, job aids, and reference guides to enhance learning outcomes.
    • Ensure content is visually appealing, user-friendly, and accessible to a diverse audience.
    • Incorporate multimedia elements, simulations, and interactive assessments to increase learner engagement and retention.
    • Utilize instructional design principles to create effective and learner-centered content.
  2. Learning Management System (LMS) Support:
    • Assist in the administration and maintenance of the LMS, including user management, course setup, and troubleshooting technical issues.
    • Provide support to users regarding LMS functionality, navigation, and access to learning materials.
    • Collaborate with IT and vendor support teams to address system-related issues and implement upgrades or enhancements as needed.
    • Monitor LMS usage metrics and generate reports to assess learner progress, engagement, and course effectiveness.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in e-learning and LMS technology to recommend improvements and enhancements.
  3. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Collaborate with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of training content with learning objectives and performance goals.
    • Communicate effectively with internal teams to gather requirements, provide updates on project status, and solicit feedback.
    • Maintain clear and organized documentation of content development processes, guidelines, and standards.
    • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities to contribute ideas and best practices for content development and delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in training content creation, e-learning development, and LMS administration.
  • Proficiency in Articulate Storyline or similar e-learning authoring tools.
  • Experience designing and developing engaging e-learning modules, interactive simulations, and multimedia content.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and e-learning best practices.
  • Ability to create supplementary materials such as workbooks, job aids, and reference guides to support learning objectives.
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS), such as Moodle, SAP, Canvas, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging and interactive e-learning content, with a portfolio showcasing previous work.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Creative problem solver with a passion for learning and continuous improvement.
