YOUR MISSION

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a member of the PUMA North America Integrated Planning Organization, you will develop and execute Procurement Planning activities for our North American business.

YOUR MISSION (Responsibilities)

Tasks + Responsibilities

  • Assist with execution of developed Supply Plans by creating, submitting, maintaining, and verifying purchase orders with factories/agents in ERP and Vendor collaboration systems.

  • Determine manufacturing schedule that works within production lead-time and capacity while allowing sufficient transit time for goods to ship to end customer On Time in Full (OTIF)

  • Support Supply and Inventory Planning strategies as well as tactical execution for all product categories and distribution (WS, Retail, Ecomm) to enable a competitive advantage to bottom-line and top-line company growth.

  • Investigate problems, find root causes, and develop solutions to avoid costly delays and lost sales opportunities.

  • Support cross-functional teams to sustain new product introductions.

  • Partner with cross-functional departments to support minimum order quantities and lead time exceptions to avoid costly delays and lost sales opportunities.

  • Assist with the improvement of Customer Service Levels via helping balance supply and demand.

  • Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to procurement planning process.

  • Investigate problems, find root causes, and develop solutions to avoid costly delays and lost sales opportunities.

  • Contribute to process documentation and validation for all Procurement Planning Processes

  • Play a key role in end to end buying process for North American market including on time metrics.

YOUR TALENT (Qualifications)

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field and
  • 2+ years' experience working in an operations environment required.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, Forecast Models, Inventory Strategies, Procurement and Sales and Operations Planning preferred.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical skills needed.
