We are seeking a Facility Maintenance Mechanic to be responsible for the routine care and preventative maintenance of buildings, grounds and equipment for multiple sites.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Repairing walls, doors and windows
  • Make minor repairs to equipment and appliances; perform carpentry tasks; minor plumbing maintenance tasks
  • Install replacement light bulbs and perform minor electrical preventive maintenance tasks;
  • Respond to emergencies on an as needed basis
  • Detect, inspect and trouble shoot building issues, equipment and grounds and take necessary corrective action as needed and seasonal ground care tasks
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.

Successful candidate will possess:

  • HS diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of related experience in building and grounds maintenance required.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sensitive to the work environment.
  • Bilingual skills preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs.
  • Ability to pass CORI background check which may include fingerprinting
