Job Description
Our Team:

We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be a detailed-oriented professional with strong experience in accounting, month end close procedures, US GAAP revenue recognition, and independently own workstreams and related outcomes. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the Company's accounting and reporting processes, especially the month, quarter and year-end close process and report directly to the Director, Corporate Controller.

What You Will Do:
  • Ownership of various Corporate Accounting transactional activities, including but not limited to Revenue, Accounts Receivable, Deferred Revenue and customer credit activity
  • Own various pieces of the period-end close process on a monthly and quarterly basis, including ensuring all assigned month end tasks are completed timely.
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations.
  • Work closely with internal and external auditors, including executing and documenting key internal controls.
  • Support internal and external audit activity by providing necessary documentation and explanations as requested.
  • Be proactive in identifying and implementing process improvements within our team to increase efficiency within financial reporting.
  • Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as assigned to support decision-making across the organization.
  • Participate in various projects and initiatives.

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA certification (or in the process of certification) is preferred.
  • Experience in Big 4 accounting firms or companies with >$300M in revenue.
  • 3+ years of experience.
  • Thorough understanding of US GAAP.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Good attitude, willingness to learn and opportunity to contribute to a high-performing accounting and finance team.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote work setting.
