Description

The Janitor is responsible for keeping TURBOCAM facilities in clean and orderly condition by performing a variety of cleaning duties as assigned.

Position Specific Responsibilities
  • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. Steam-clean or shampoo carpets as needed.
  • Gather and empty trash throughout facility.
  • Clean and stock restrooms, showers, fitness room and cafeteria.
  • Dust for cobwebs, countertops, filing cabinets, clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
  • Observe and report items needing repair and/or potential hazards to lead, supervisor, building facilities or safety staff as applicable.
  • Stock restroom cart with supplies and equipment needed for cleaning duties.
  • Follow instructions on Janitorial checklists.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience performing janitorial duties preferred.
  • Basic understanding of MS Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel desired.
  • Must possess valid driver's license from his/her state of residence and reliable transportation based on travel to other facilities.
  • Must be able to work extended/flexible hours when needed.
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs. in a safe manner and on frequent basis.
  • Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching.
