Here at Entegris, we use advanced science to enable technologies that transform the world, and we are seeking employees who have the drive to continue that mission.WORK LOCATION: Bedford, MACore Purpose:With the guidance of quality leader/senior quality engineer, the quality engineering intern will support our UPE and metal membrane manufacturing lines at Entegris in Bedford, MA. We are actively seeking a quality engineer intern with interests in quality management system and quality practices within manufacturing environment in semiconductor industry, aiming for operational excellence.In this role, you will:*Attend daily Gemba walks and proactively identify and communicate any relevant quality topics.*Participate in weekly DRB/MRB reviews, actively contributing to quality assessments for DRB lots.*Review product release data thoroughly to ensure compliance with quality standards.*Generate deviation reports and associated ZPQNs; oversee the approval process for effective documentation control.*Address internal and external Quality Notifications (QNs) and manage the quality cage following SAP requirements.*Ensure the timely closure of QN tasks to maintain efficient quality management.*Provide assistance for change control projects, ensuring a smooth transition and compliance with quality standards.*Apply statistical tools for data analysis to support data driven decision-making.*Actively engage in Statistical Process Control (SPC) activities, consistently monitoring and analyzing statistical data to drive continuous quality improvements.You're a good fit if you have:*Attention to Detail: Be able to review product release data, generating accurate deviation reports, and ensuring precise documentation control.*Proactive Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively interact with multiple functional teams and facilitate the completion of quality tasks collaboratively.*Analytical Learning: Demonstrated willingness to learn and apply statistical data analysis techniques for making informed lot disposition decisions.*Time Management and Organization: Possess good time management and organizational abilities, ensuring the timely closure of Quality Notification (QN) tasks and efficient management of various responsibilities within established timelines.Desired Major & Graduation Date:Educational Background: Currently pursuing an engineering or science degree, with a preference for a major in chemical, chemistry, or material science.Completion of third year of college is preferred.Physical Requirements:Be able to lift 15 lbs.Your success will be measured by: Success will be measured not only by fulfilling assigned tasks but also by embodying a mindset of accountability and a proactive pursuit of excellence in all aspects of the job.
