TUV SUD America Inc., a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification, has an immediate opening for a Marketing and Communications Manager. This can be a remote or hybrid role based in one of the following offices:

Wakefield, MA

Alpharetta, GA

New Brighton, MN

The Marketing and Communications Manager in collaboration with TUV SUD is responsible for developing, executing, and overseeing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth in technical, engineering or medical fields. This role involves planning, coordinating, and managing various marketing initiatives to effectively reach target audiences, generate leads, and support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic marketing: Work closely with the business units to gain input on their goals and specific details on the industry segment, leveraging insights and analytics, including the development of value proposition, high level buyer personas and market analysis. To have clear objectives, leading into the development of an actionable marketing plan.

Market and industry insights: Understand the industry market trends, business drivers, customer behavior and how the TUV SUD solutions can address customer challenges.

Stakeholder management: Ensure high level of stakeholder engagement, collaborating with Business Units, and other functions within the organization to deliver marketing objectives.

Marketing tactics & content plan: Out of the marketing plan, develop clear marketing tactics, with a multichannel content plan for the specific business segments, in line with the business goals and market potential.

Content creation & rollout: Work closely with experts and the markets to create high quality and engaging content. Edit, proofread, and ensure SEO optimization. Roll out all assets as multichannel campaigns, ensuring to curate the different content calendars to have an accurate overview.

Brand guardianship & evolution: 30% of the role consists in being the brand guardian and reference for the team. Knowing the brand guidelines, guiding the team in possible questions, giving feedback to assets to ensure alignment with our Corporate Identity and Design and being the driver for future innovation.

Marketing effectiveness: Execute, measure and optimize the campaigns; demonstrate the impact of marketing activities by analyzing metrics relevant to the strategic topics and business objectives. (e.g., ROI; lead conversion; awareness generation, thought leadership)

Interlock with global marketing: align regional activities with Headquarters and the different Center of Marketing Excellence (CoMEs) in order to find synergies and alignment as one Global Company.

Your qualifications

Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, Business Management, or a related discipline.

3 - 5 years of marketing experience in a B2B environment, preferably in an engineering, industry, or technical field.

Understanding of ISO standards and/or experience in the TIC (Testing, Inspection and Certification) industry would be ideal.

Strong understanding and skills in marketing strategies, content marketing, search (organic and paid), social media and other digital media channels.

Specifical experience and knowledge in Brand Marketing is advantageous.

Digital and technology savvy; experience in website content management systems (Sitecore), marketing automation (Marketo), CRM tools, social media management (Sprinklr), and Adobe Analytics is advantageous.

Strong, professional written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Experienced with working in a multinational environment and managing stakeholders of various levels.

Candidate must be confident, resourceful, self-motivated, a team player, flexible and possess a high level of initiative.
