Working under general supervision from lab members, executes protocols involving a variety of routine and non-routine experiments at a professional level. Troubleshoots and implements
modifications on existing techniques, as appropriate. May suggest alternate technical routes and suggest options based upon research in the literature. Calculates, transcribes, and analyzes data using proper techniques. This is a great opportunity for a student who is looking for research
experience.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To assist with sectioning, staining and computerized image analysis of mouse brain. 2. To prepare reagents for all procedures. 3. To perform basic statistical analyses and make figures and graphs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* High School Diploma Preferred. * Excellent interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication. * Interest in Neurology and biology lab work.

* Ability to follow directions, protocol requirements, and lab safety rules * Ability to work well with moderate supervision * High level of organizational skills with strong attention to details * Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to interact with a variety of people * Strong team player and can communicate well
