Description

Responsible for administrative and milieu components of the OCDI for Children & Adolescents (OCDI Jr.) program of McLean Hospital. Reports to Program Director.

Organizational Leadership and Staff Management (70%)

  • Assist Director with strategic planning and implementation
  • Advise Director on new program initiatives and organizational capacity
  • Mentor milieu staff and shift coordinators as appropriate
  • Provide daily, consistent oversight of on-site staff
  • Support with the planning and implementation of program-wide activities such as holiday parties, program outings etc.
  • Assist Director in creation, implementation, and enforcement of departmental policies
  • Assist staff with problem solving and decision-making as required
  • Coordinate/Supervise staff: approve requests for time off, monitor tardiness and other concerns
  • Manage milieu staff meetings, regularly held team meetings and other events
  • Perform milieu staff Annual Reviews (scheduling, completion, submission) including delivering feedback on performance, identifying new projects/goals for individual staff, and ensuring coordination between staff members

Financial Management (10%)

  • Monitor budget to ensure compliance with spending targets
  • With Director, create budgets and justifications for new events and activities
  • Manage financial transactions, assure proper expense and effort allocations
  • Assist Director in purchases, bill processing and reimbursement requests, and set up consultant agreements
  • Identify needs for large purchases for program (vans, furniture etc.) and manage budgetary changes to ensure successful purchase

Personnel/Staff (10%)

  • Coordinate job searches, conduct interviews and reference checks
  • Serve as liaison with McLean's HR office, assure department's compliance with all HR policies and procedures, orient staff to program/department

Office, Facilities and Technology Management (10%)

  • Approve departmental purchases
  • Allocate resources among staff and programs
  • Oversee departmental computers and maintenance/upgrades as needed
  • Maintain office space and equipment
  • Administer Shared File Areas and other network resources
  • Interface with Facilities to ensure program needs such as facility repairs/upgrades are met
Qualifications

At least a Bachelors Degree

At least 1 year of related management experience

Experience in an adolescent therapeutic milieu setting

Experience providing staff schedules, supervision, and feedback

Experience with pediatric OCD and ERP
