Overview

Are you passionate about digital content creation and eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative environment? Join our team as a Digital Content Coordinator Intern and embark on an exciting journey where creativity meets strategy! In this paid internship opportunity, you will work on marketing initiatives supporting Milton Rents, a division of Milton Cat. You will report to the Milton Rents Marketing Manager and work with them as well as other members of the Milton CAT marketing team to coordinate the creation of content, help develop and implement a metadata strategy, own the storage and organization of all assets and work with the marketing manager to turn that content into impactful website imagery and social medial assets.

This will be a hybrid role with some time required in office. A small bit of travel within New England/New York may be required depending on the final responsibilities of the role.

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour

Responsibilities
    Content Curation and Organization: Source, collect, and organize digital content for website and social media platforms, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and target audience preferences.
  • E-commerce Optimization: Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize content for e-commerce platforms, enhancing product visibility and driving conversion rates.
  • Metadata Management: Establish and manage metadata and repository for all digital files, ensuring accurate tagging and efficient content retrieval.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams to understand content requirements and coordinate content creation efforts.
  • Vendor Coordination: Work closely with photography and video vendors to create and organize content per our requirements and industry best practices.
  • Content Design: Design or manage the design of final social media posts and video clips, incorporating engaging visuals and compelling messaging to maximize audience engagement.
  • Additional projects as needed.
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
  • Strong interest in digital content creation, social media management, and e-commerce optimization.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Intermediate level Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) and/or other graphic design and video editing software experience is a plus.
