GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Speech, Language, and Swallowing Disorders has an opening for a medical SLP to join our large and dynamic Adult Inpatient Team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide care in an academic medical setting across the entire spectrum of hospitalized patients, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and educate future healthcare professionals. We seek a candidate interested in a reflective and collaborative SLP practice where holistic patient care, patient advocacy, teamwork, and peer learning are valued. The candidate will be eager to grow their practice and have a strong sense of collaboration, compassion, and curiosity. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of experience in a tertiary care hospital.
The position is full-time with weekend availability for ongoing rotations. We serve a diverse patient population, and bicultural/bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

The MGH Department of Speech, Language, and Swallowing Disorders is comprised of 50+ SLPs who provide inpatient and ambulatory care at our main campus, at two outpatient community-based health centers, as well as consultative services to Mass Eye &Ear and Shriners Burn Center.
