The SIMULIA Customer Success organization at Dassault Systemes is dedicated to empowering our customers' success through unparalleled support and knowledge. In this 6-month paid internship opportunity, based at the Dassault Systemes Office in Johnston, RI, you'll channel your passion and AI expertise towards shaping an advanced RAG system, elevating the support experience to new heights.
In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our dynamic Data Science Teams within the Customer Success organization, spearheading the development of next-generation AI applications across a diverse array of data streams.
As an NLP AI Intern, you'll dive headfirst into the realm of Natural Language Processing, assuming a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying advanced RAG systems, classification models, and data manipulation techniques. Your contributions will extend to the development and maintenance of data pipelines, bolstering various data science initiatives. By ensuring the efficiency and reliability of data processes and fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams, you'll make a tangible impact.
This hands-on experience will not only refine your technical prowess in NLP and data engineering technologies but also provide a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully to real-world projects, laying the groundwork for a successful career in data engineering.
Qualifications
* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field. (Master's preferred, Bachelor's with relevant experience considered)
* Proficiency in software development in Python, with a strong grasp of open-source libraries.
* Experience with various open-source databases, including vector and graph databases like ChromaDB, OpenSearch, Neo4j, etc.
* Familiarity with AI app development frameworks such as Langchain or LlamaIndex.
* Knowledge of open-source LLMs like Llama and Mistral.
* Proficiency in building and querying knowledge graphs using open-source tools and libraries (e.g., Neo4j, Stardog).
* Understanding of AI agent architectures and frameworks for building agents with function calling capabilities.
* Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize activities effectively to achieve results.
* Motivated, hands-on developer with a passion for learning and expanding their skills.
* Demonstrated ability to approach new modules holistically, with a focus on the broader technical landscape.
This is a paid internship spanning 6 months with flexible start date in 2023. This position is based at the Dassault Systemes Office at 1301 Atwood Ave in Johnston, RI.

The total expected compensation range for this role will be between $22 and $40. In determining the pay range, we take into consideration experience, pay of employees in similar positions, and other job-related factors.
