Job Function and Scope:

In this position, you will be a trusted audit advisor for Corporate IT and lead engagements across the Americas region and beyond. You will plan and participate in the performance of various audit department assignments, which include Information Technology reviews and projects, evaluation of IT controls, assessment of compliance with local and Corporate policies and procedures, and participation in process improvement efforts and other special projects. This position provides the opportunity to travel and learn a highly complex technical environment.

Scope/Supervision and Interaction:

Reports to Global IT Audit Manager, work with Division, Group, and Corporate Management, and External Auditors, to evaluate internal controls on the adequacy and effectiveness of the IT Environment.

Job Responsibility:

  1. Complete planning, fieldwork and wrap-up of IT audits which evaluate internal controls to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, ensuring the audit department meets metrics for required audit plan percent completion.
  2. Develop, complete and review, in a timely manner, logical and organized workpapers which are supportive of audit conclusions.
  3. Provide technical support to finance audit teams in the evaluation of IT systems through manual audit techniques or automated processes and data analytics.
  4. Prepare formal written reports, evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of the controls.
  5. Assist in the evaluation of IT audit work performed by IT audit staff and finance auditors to ensure audit procedures are properly and completely performed.
  6. Participate in or lead data analytics or process improvement efforts for the department and cross-functional teams.
  7. Perform assignments in a professional manner in accordance with the audit programs and department procedures.
  8. Perform other tasks as deemed necessary.

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree required. A degree in Business or Information Systems is preferred.
  • 1-3 years' experience of Information Technology, Finance and/or audit experience is preferred.
  • Desirable Professional certification. CISA, MBA, CIA or Project Management preferred.
  • Ability to work in a highly complex environment.
  • General understanding of accounting and manufacturing concepts.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Works well with others on teams.
  • Domestic/International Travel: Up to 40%
